TemPo is a workout, nutrition, health, music, community, and focus tracking app. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can delete it.

1. Information We Collect

Account data: If you create an account, TemPo may collect your email address, username, profile details, profile links, and authentication identifiers.

Workout and focus data: TemPo stores workout plans, completed sessions, stopwatch sessions, notes, streaks, achievements, leaderboard stats, and study/focus sessions.

Nutrition data: TemPo may store food logs, saved meals, nutrition goals, body metrics used for nutrition guidance, scanned product details, and manually edited calorie and macro values.

Community data: If you use community features, TemPo may store shared plans, group membership, comments, likes, follows, reports, invite codes, and moderation-related information.

Health data: With your explicit permission, TemPo can integrate with supported health platforms to read or write fitness-related data such as workouts, steps, heart rate, calories, and related vitals. Health data is used only to provide app features and is not sold or used for advertising.

Device and notification data: TemPo may use device tokens to send push notifications and may use local device capabilities for widgets, media controls, sound, haptics, and smartwatch communication.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to provide TemPo features: account sync, workout history, custom plans, nutrition logging, AI-assisted scanning, community sharing, leaderboards, health dashboards, notifications, subscriptions, ads for free users, and support.

3. AI Features

AI plan scanning and AI meal scanning require user-provided content such as text, screenshots, or meal photos. These inputs may be sent to the configured AI provider only to generate the requested result inside TemPo. Do not upload sensitive content that is unrelated to your workout or nutrition use.

4. Third-Party Services

TemPo uses third-party services that may process information under their own privacy policies:

Google Firebase for authentication, database sync, and messaging.
RevenueCat for in-app subscriptions and purchase status.
Google AdMob for ads shown to free users where applicable.
Google Gemini API for AI plan and meal scanning when configured and used.
Spotify for Spotify account connection, playlists, search, and playback integration.
Open Food Facts for barcode-based product lookup.
Apple Health, Health Connect, Google Fit, Oura, and smartwatch platforms where supported and explicitly enabled by you.

5. Ads and Subscriptions

Free users may see ads. TemPo+ subscribers receive an ad-free premium experience where available. Purchases are handled by app store billing and RevenueCat; TemPo does not directly store full payment card details.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

TemPo keeps account, workout, community, and nutrition data while your account is active or as needed to provide app features. Nutrition daily logs may be pruned on a rolling basis, while saved meal templates are stored separately. You can delete your personal data or your entire account in the app settings under the danger zone. Account deletion permanently removes associated server-side data where supported by the app.
